Summer Fun On Our Westport Campus!

Full STEAM Ahead For The Summer!

June 18 - June 22: Science Week

Mrs. Simoulidis will head up this session, which will include hands -on science themed centers each day. We will explore the science of some of our favorite summer things like bubbles, clouds, and messy mixtures!

June 25 - June 29: Technology Week

Mrs. Cortigiano will also lead this session which will include centers focused on technology, including our robotics program, small group sessions with iPads, and fun ways to use technology to extend learning.

July 9 - July 13: Engineering Week

We will enjoy some special engineering activities and team challenges during this week.Mrs. Gaskin will be pulling out ALL the awesome engineering materials in our STEAM Lab for this one!

July 16 - July 20: Art Week

Ms. Roddy will lead us through a week of discovery oriented art activities. It’s all about the process as we explore the ways we can use different art materials and find out what happens when we combine them in unexpected ways.

July 23 - July 27: Math Week

Ms. Parrillo takes to the kitchen with kids as we learn about how to apply math in cooking. We will measure, count, and time our way to delicious dishes that teach children very practical ways to use the numbers we are learning about.

Landmark is the place to be for summer fun!

Join us for some summer fun and learning with our Landmark Summer Programs! Landmark-Westport will offer five weekly sessions from June 18 through July 27 (no session the week of July 4). Each session will be built around exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math (STEAM) related concepts, which will be highlighted in our learning centers. We will also be incorporating many elements of our school routine, including our morning meeting and helper jobs. To be sure we get to enjoy all summer has to offer, our daily water play will keep everyone cool and happy!

Summer Program hours are Monday - Friday, from 9am until 2pm. Fees for each session are $375 for those registering on or before May 18 or $400/session after May 18. Extended hours are available by request from 8:30am to 3:00pm at an additional fee of $14/hour. Please contact the office at the time of registration.

A health assessment dated within 12 months is required for anyone attending Landmark Summer Programs. If you are a current student at Landmark Preschool, and your health assessment is dated within 12 months, you do not need to submit a new one. If needed, Health Assessment forms for preschool students can be found here.
