Enrichment Clubs

Children in our 4s and Fundamentals programs will have a fantastic time expressing their creativity in this arts and crafts session led by Mrs. Gaskin and Ms. Kuehn, both teachers in our Fours program. Each week, children will explore various art materials, learn about different artists and techniques, and enjoy working on fun, hands-on projects. Children in our 4s and Fundamentals programs will love learning their way around the kitchen with Chef Geelan. Ms. Geelan, an Assistant Teacher in our Fundamentals program, brings a rich cultural background, having grown up in the Philippines, South America, the Caribbean, and South Africa. She holds a BA from Rhodes University and is a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC. With experience in the test kitchen of the Martha Stewart Living television show, she has cooked for prominent figures, including President Clinton and General Colin Powell, alongside renowned chefs. Please note that registration is not complete until you receive a confirmation email.

Join us for a fun, hands-on after-school club where Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) take center stage! Led by Mrs. Simoulidis and Mrs. Cortigiano, both experienced Landmark Head Teachers known for making learning exciting and engaging, this club offers a dynamic way for students to explore STEAM concepts through play and discovery. This fun introduction to soccer is open to children in our 3s program and will be led by Mrs. Sydney Abelson, Admissions Manager at Landmark Preschool. Mrs. Abelson brings years of soccer experience, having played at the collegiate level and led a variety of youth clubs and clinics. Most recently, she served as a women’s soccer coach at Fairfield University.

Each class will be filled with fun, games, and an introduction to a variety of soccer skills in a developmentally appropriate way. Your child will love this engaging start to soccer! Please ensure they wear sneakers and bring a water bottle. Please note that registration is not complete until you receive a confirmation email.

Join our after-school Yoga Club with our talented instructor, Ms. Kim Bassett! This fun and relaxing program includes breathwork, yoga poses, games, mindfulness activities, and guided relaxation exercises tailored to the age group. No yoga mat is needed!

Ms. Bassett brings over 25 years of experience in preschool and elementary education and is a certified yoga instructor. She’s passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga with children, designing classes around engaging weekly themes that integrate mindfulness, movement, and plenty of fun.
