Fours students on our Landmark Redding campus recently joined those on our Ridgefield campus for an inner-stellar, in-house field trip!
As part of our themed preschool curriculum, Fours students on all three campuses have been studying the Solar System and planets. The night sky is fascinating to young children, and what better way to learn about the stars then inside a giant, inflatable planetarium! Through this creative, portable, igloo-like teaching device, children are transported - while never leaving their school! The planetarium provides a clear view of the night sky - free from the elements and light pollution. Students learn about the constellations, planets, and astronomy folklore in an environment that is a "world away" from our bright classroom spaces.
Afterwards, preschoolers visited the new “Kitchen Lab” at Landmark Ridgefield and made space trail mix. It was out of this world!
